Merced School Employees Federal Credit Union is proud to partner with four local high schools and bring student-run branches on to their campuses. The branches are run by student tellers from each high school and an MSEFCU Student-Run Branch Supervisor who oversees the program's operations.
Our High School Branch student tellers are 'hired' as employees, and they receive hands-on experience, learning and performing various teller duties. The goal is for students to gain real-world work experience and become financially educated. Plus, the students, faculty, staff, and community members using these student-run branches learn about and conduct their financial transactions in a safe, convenient way with access to free or very low cost financial products and services offered by MSEFCU.
