The MSEFCU Ag Youth Loan Program supports FFA and 4-H students in Merced and Mariposa Counties by providing funding for livestock projects.
This program helps cover the costs of animals, feed, and equipment, making it easier for students to participate in these valuable agricultural experiences.
Program Highlights
- Low Interest Rate: 3.00% APR* with all interest waived if paid within 30 days of auction.
- Loan Amounts: $200 to $2,500.
- Membership: Must be or become an MSEFCU member (fee waived for students).
- Parent Co-applicant/Co-signer: Required.

Applying is easy with MSEFCU! Just fill out the MSEFCU Budget Information Sheet, signed by the student/parent and approved by the 4-H Club Leader or FFA Advisor.
Then, schedule an appointment with a loan officer at our Los Banos, Atwater, M Street, or Main Branches. Bring the signed Budget Information Sheet and complete your loan application in-person.

*APR = Annual Percentage Rate is 3.00%, with interest waived if paid in full within 30 days of auction sale of livestock/animal; a one-time payment due within 30 days is required, membership with Merced School Employees Federal Credit Union is mandatory with waived membership fee, available to 4H and Future Farmers of America (FFA) students with parents required to be co-applicant/co-signer, loan amounts range from $200 to $2,500 for designated livestock and associated expenses, fair location must be within Merced or Mariposa counties with disclosed final auction dates.
